Overview: The Honors Psychology course is designed to introduce students to the systematic and scientific of the behavior and mental processes of human beings and other animals. Students are exposed to the psychological facts, principles, and phenomena with each major subfield within psychology. They also learn about the methods psychologists use in the science and practice.

Grading: Students will be graded on all assignments, papers and tests. All areas will carry the same weight in the grading scale.

Grading Scale. 100- 87=A 86-77%= B 76-67%= C 66-57%= D 56-00%= F

Test: Students will be tested regularly. They can expect tests to consist of essay and multiple-choice questions.

Make Up: Students will have two days for each excused absence to make up work. All other late work will be a zero. It is the student’s responsibility to come to me to get make up or to set times to do their work.

Test Date: Students must have earned a C in every quarter to be able to take the CLEP test.
