Hello!  I am one of the Administrative Assistants in the office here at Lyle School since May 2021,  and I truly love my job!

I was born and raised on a farm just outside of Lyle and graduated from Lyle High School in 1989. I live in Lyle with my husband John, who works for Hormel and my son, Foster, who farms with my brother at our family farm in Lyle, and works at my nephew’s food trailer business, Mac Shack.  My daughter, Zoe, recently graduated from Winona State and is a Kindergarten teacher, here at Lyle!   

Some of my hobbies include pet rescue, quilting, sewing, baking goodies and candy, and home improvement projects.
 
My educational background includes an A.A. degree from Waldorf University (formally Waldorf College), and a B. A. in Education.  My work history includes: 10 years of direct care and supervisory positions at a facility that provided assistance to developmentally and physically disabled individuals; Activity director and Lifeline program manager at a small rural hospital in Wisconsin for approx. 6 years; Housing Manager for Independent & Assisted Living and Dementia care residents; and nearly 10 years with Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin working in the outpatient surgery, orthopedics, pain clinic, podiatry, same day clinic, and the PT/OT/ and Speech departments as an appointment and registration specialist.
